Scireo® End User Terms of Use

Please read these End User Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using Scireo.

By accessing, logging into, or otherwise using Scireo, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with these End User Terms of Use and any applicable organizational policies governing your use of Scireo.

1. Authorized Use

Scireo is provided for business use by individuals authorized by their employer, sponsoring organization, or system administrator.

You may use Scireo only:

  • For legitimate business purposes;
  • Within the scope of your assigned responsibilities and permissions;
  • In accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and organizational policies; and
  • Consistent with these End User Terms of Use.

Access to Scireo may be revoked at any time by your employer, sponsoring organization, or The Sente Group, Inc. ("Sente") as permitted by applicable agreements and policies.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and any authentication methods used to access Scireo.

You agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of usernames, passwords, tokens, badges, certificates, and other authentication credentials;
  • Use only your assigned account;
  • Promptly report suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, or security concerns; and
  • Log out of shared or publicly accessible devices when appropriate.

Sharing accounts or authentication credentials is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use Scireo for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes;
  • Access data, records, reports, or information that you are not authorized to access;
  • Circumvent security controls, access restrictions, or audit mechanisms;
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software;
  • Disrupt, interfere with, or impair operation of the system;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, databases, or accounts;
  • Use Scireo to develop, benchmark, or support competing products or services without authorization;
  • Remove, alter, obscure, or circumvent copyright notices, proprietary markings, or intellectual-property notices; or
  • Use automated extraction, scraping, harvesting, or bulk-download techniques except through approved interfaces and authorized functionality.

4. Data Handling and Information Protection

Users are responsible for handling information within Scireo in accordance with:

  • Organizational policies;
  • Applicable confidentiality obligations;
  • Export-control requirements;
  • Security requirements; and
  • Applicable laws and regulations.

You may not disclose, export, distribute, or otherwise share information obtained through Scireo except as authorized.

Where applicable, users are responsible for properly handling confidential, proprietary, export-controlled, restricted, or otherwise sensitive information.

5. Monitoring and Auditing

Scireo is a business system.

Activities performed within Scireo may be monitored, logged, reviewed, audited, retained, and disclosed as necessary for operational, security, compliance, contractual, regulatory, legal, and investigative purposes.

By using Scireo, you acknowledge that:

  • Your activities may be recorded;
  • Audit trails may be maintained;
  • Authorized personnel may review system activity; and
  • Information generated through use of Scireo may be used for operational, security, compliance, or legal purposes.

Users should have no expectation of personal privacy regarding business activities performed within Scireo.

6. Intellectual Property

Scireo, including its software, interfaces, workflows, reports, documentation, mobile applications, methodologies, analytics, taxonomies, and related materials, is owned by The Sente Group, Inc. and its licensors.

These End User Terms do not grant ownership rights in Scireo or any related intellectual property.

Users may access and use Scireo only as authorized by their organization and applicable agreements.

7. System Updates and Platform Evolution

Scireo is continuously improved and updated.

Features, workflows, interfaces, reports, mobile applications, and functionality may be modified, enhanced, replaced, or discontinued over time.

Users acknowledge that access to particular functionality may change as a result of:

  • Product enhancements;
  • Security improvements;
  • Bug fixes;
  • Operational improvements;
  • Platform evolution; and
  • Customer-specific configuration decisions.

8. Third-Party Services

Certain Scireo functionality may utilize or interoperate with third-party software, cloud services, authentication services, communications services, mobile-device operating systems, mapping services, or other external technologies.

Sente is not responsible for third-party products or services that are not owned or controlled by Sente.

9. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, recommendations, enhancement requests, comments, or other feedback concerning Scireo, Sente may use such feedback for any lawful purpose without obligation, compensation, or attribution.

10. Privacy

Your use of Scireo is also subject to the applicable Scireo Privacy Policy.

By using Scireo, you acknowledge that information may be collected, processed, stored, retained, and disclosed as described in the applicable Privacy Policy and in accordance with contractual, legal, regulatory, and operational requirements.

11. Suspension or Revocation of Access

Access to Scireo may be suspended, limited, or revoked if:

  • Your authorization is withdrawn;
  • Your employment or relationship with the sponsoring organization changes;
  • Security concerns arise;
  • Applicable laws or policies require action; or
  • You violate these End User Terms of Use or other applicable policies.

12. Acknowledgement

By accessing or using Scireo, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are an authorized user of the system;
  • You will comply with these End User Terms of Use;
  • You will protect system credentials and information;
  • Your use of Scireo may be monitored and audited; and
  • Failure to comply with these requirements may result in suspension or revocation of access and may subject you to organizational, contractual, civil, or criminal consequences where applicable.
