Scireo Mobile’s Asset Count feature automatically tracks the total number of active assets in a selected room during a UT (Utilization) transaction. As assets are scanned, the system updates the remaining count in real time and adjusts the totals if unexpected or archived assets are included.
When Are Counts Displayed?
- Total Assets and Assets Remaining will only appear:
- When Transaction Type is set to UT (Utilization)
- Based on the Room selected in the dropdown
- Counts are not shown for other transaction types
How Are the Counts Calculated?
- Total Count:
- Only Active Assets in the selected room are included initially
- Example: If 544 active assets are in the selected room:
- Total: 544 | Remaining: 544
- After Scanning Assets:
- After each asset scan, the Remaining count decreases
- Example: After scanning 200 unique assets:
- Total: 544 | Remaining: 344
Scanning OOS / Archived Assets
- If an asset that is OOS (Out of Service) or Archived is scanned:
- The Total count increases by 1 and the Remaining count stays the same
- Before scan: Total: 554 | Remaining: 344
- After scanning unexpected asset: Total: 555 | Remaining: 344
- OOS and Archived assets will appear in the Review queue
Handling Unexpected Assets
- If an asset is scanned that was not located in the selected room:
- The Total count increases by 1 and the Remaining count stays the same
- Before scan: Total: 555 | Remaining: 344
- After scanning unexpected asset: Total: 556 | Remaining: 344
Viewing Remaining Assets
- Tap the
next to the Remaining Count to open the Lab Asset Search screen
- List displays only remaining assets
- Swipe up or down on the screen to scroll the list
- Use the predictive search to filter the Remaining Asset List
- Tap Cancel or use the Android back button to go back to the Asset Transaction screen
